Not so fast, lets break down the votes. FIU, FAU, and UNT are presumably going to vote for MT, WKU will likely have have Troy, and ULM voting for them, and maybe USA. UL and stAte are the teams up in the air on this vote because they might want/need MT on their side for a CUSA vote, so sticking it to them might hurt us for wanting to push for membership. This is interesting.
So just call. "Hey, MT, get us into CUSA. Get it done. We'll vote yes."
OK, WKU and MT, here are the rules: paper covers rock. Rock breaks scissors. Scissors cut paper. Ready? 1-2-3-shoot!
Am I the only one wondering why we have to wait a week after conference implosion to get everybody together, but we can do it in less than 8 hours on a Sunday to vote on a bowl berth between 2 soon-to-be ex conference members? And while we're on the line, can we go ahead and vote yay or nay on these FCS teams and get it over with?
you may have been facetious with this, but actually, this is just the kind of hardball we should have been playing all along. we have our ace pitcher on the mound in hud. and he's throwing nothing but high, hard heat. but we don't take advantage and we're eating other people's dust right now.
Thanks Tech, ASU is now getting Liberty, MT GoDaddy, and WKU Pizza.
Well damn, Iowa St accepted Liberty....
ASU to Mobile?
MT to Military?
