Yes, welcome to Cajun Country!!! I can already see where your son has gotten his passion for the game, being a dad and coach/persay myself. You and your family seem to have been real involved in your sons sports career, which is not only fun but huge task that requires sacrafice but yields many great memories!!

We welcome your son and your family to this area of our great country, to our University(#7 in the USA in % of Research $$ growth and top 10 % in overall research $$'s), and to the Ragin Cajuns sports family!!!

For Baseball your always welcome to the 3rd base side boxseat area as we are always Bar-b-Qing, frying soft shell crabs, shrimp or fish. My box is #10 come introduce yourself and your family and sit down and watch the Cajun baseball team!

    Welcome,

We lived in Abbeville for 9 years while I worked in the oilfield for a company called Petro Drive ( I don't know if its still around). Had three of our nine children born in Abbeville, quess that qualifies them as part Cajun--Ha!!
If Brad plays baseball will be up to Coach Bustle and Him. He wants to do his best at the QB position and that takes an enormous amount of time--we shall see--I have to admit he is one hell of a catcher and shortstop-got a pretty good bat also.
This is so cool for him and us--what an opportunity. Looking forward to it--only 203 days till kickoff..!!!!! Geaux Cajuns!!!

I see you worked for Leon in Grosse Isle. He had a son, David who played at UL. Petro Drive was absorbed by another local company. Energy Crane now sits at the former Petro Drive location.

I am an engineer who worked at Petro Drive from 1983 to 1991, after Leon quit and started his own company. We had many interesting projects and traveled to many parts of the world.
Looking forward to baseball season. GO CAJUNS!

Did you work for Garry/Royce in the SEMI department at Petro Drive? I was the engineer who put together the Center Punch Tool, the one we took to Alaska in 1985. I will look you up at the first game next season.

Exactly where I worked--The SEMI dept. Made the trip to Alaska, Netherlands, and Columbia. In fact was one of the original SEMI hands, went on every job that SEMI did--who are you?
