I saw Bad Company with Paul Rodgers in 2010 at Tulsa Hard Rock and it was an awesome show. The guy definitely still has it.

I would definetly be too drunk to see them ... for my own sanity ... but that might also mean they may sound pretty good to me!

Just because you old farts haven't listened to a new band in 20 years, doesn't mean that all new bands suck. Bad Company was awful in the 70's and they are awful now. And yes I was dumb enough to by a couple of their albums in the 70's . Yuck. Givers album is a hell of a lot better.
