Well T-Joe, the balls in your court. This is the second time in the last year we have been passed over for schools that have been in the FBS less than five years. This says a lot about our leadership in the athletic department. We still don't know what our RCAF money is going toward. Yeah we all saw a sketch for 2 sec. on ESPN, but that was it. I just don't get it. You have the best recruiting area in the country, a lot of oil money in your backyard, a great head football coach that doubles as your marketing department, and a young alumni base that you wont reach out to if they don't live in the Acadiana area. You guys have had over a year to at least throw something together to get us excited. You have failed us on this one big time. Unless we see something happen quick, we will be in the Southland Conference real soon. This time it does not look good at all.

Honestly and truthfully I feel horrible for all of you who have supported this place through all the bad years. Just when you think that was the hard thing y'all get a glimmer of hope finally and it appears that hope is being torpedoed. I simply cannot see a positive in this situation at all.

None of this has anything to do with the true size of your fan base or how many butts you put in the seats. The television idiots only look at what is the size of your local population. Or, what you claim is your local population. Only school like Alabama, who deliver an entire state are treated differently. Unless we can get to a state of quality that they want us for our national rankings, we will be left on the outside. I do beleave that we will do better in the next round of TV negotiations because of the quality of product. We can't fudge like some and claim a big market when the next biggest market is filled by LSU. Tulane was only asked because they are in New Orleans. If USA and SB teams turn away from them in all sports they will still be up sh-t creek financially because of travel cost. You want to be in the east, then get your a-s over there. If you do not think that our people are out there knocking on doors then you are sadly mistaken.
