The Cajuns play Duquesne at home on the 22nd. Any chance this gets moved? I could see there being less than 1000 people in the stands for that game.

Poor planning. The date of the New Orleans Bowl should be kept open for other sports...every year. I don't see more than 500-600 people being in the Cajundome for that game. Hopefully it will be moved.
Maybe they could move the BB game to New Orleans and play it Friday or Saturday night. Everyone would already be there.
Dude, do you have any idea how difficult scheduling is for a basketball mid-major?
Some basketball scedules are done over a year in advance.
Wasn't the NO Bowl moved back a week? How do you schedule for moves?
Last year the NO Bowl was on the 3rd to last weekend. This year 2nd to last.
You can't schedule everything around football
Nor should you, but take into account football and basketball fans are often the same. You should do whatever is reasonable not to overlap, but if you must you must.
football first
Is it unreasonable to think that we may try to reschedule this game? Does that ever really happen?
I know it's a pipe dream but it would be really cool if they could move the game next door to the Superdome at the New Orleans Arena and play Friday or Saturday night. I'd be willing to bet it would be the best attended game of the year.
Hornets are away that Friday night. And are home the Saturday night..
