My bet would be Rice ... whom happens to be the #5 finisher among bowl eligible teams in CUSA.

I think there is a good chance that #4 SMU goes to the Hawaii Bowl.

I would prefer a matchup with SMU ... but I think it would be a tougher matchup for the Cajuns. The Cajun secondary against Garrett Gilbert (2008 Gatorade High School National POY) would be interesting.

So much crying on the Sun Belt Board by A State Fan, and now ULM, Middle, and others. Supposedly an Indy rep is saying we shafted them so now they might not offer ULM. Huh? They were never going to offer ULM so they still are not offering ULM, and if UL is not in the New Orleans Bowl they are offering ASU not ULM.

Yea, I am too worried about burning a bridge with the Indy? That bridge was burned by the Indy, and the Indy does what they think is best for the Indiy, like screwing us and ASU to take UNI because LTU pushed back.

The Goat Loving Hilltoppers are chiming in about how the New Orleans Bowl owes the Sun Belt as a whole because the belt stole BCS, and NCAA money from basketball to underwrite the New Orleans Bowl in the early years. So I guess that is the reason the Red Blobs were so bad, not their awful coaches.

I only wish there would have been some way to string the Indy bowl along then screw them in the end. Shockingly I'm still bitter from '08....lol

If I were a fan of one of those schools I'd probably be PO'd too. People forget that bowls are about 2 things, $ and also $. The best way for those teams to screw us in the future would be to get more people to go to their games, and to set a conference record for most bowl tickets sold.
