I agree with you Scotto25, the coaches seem to be working overtime since a couple recruits have decided to "De" committ to LSU and some of the other big schools. Which means, we've gotta protect and watch our backs. We should have a pretty solid class coming in. I saw the recruits Saturday at Hooters and I spoke with Coach Wingerter and he seems Very Pleased. I think I might have saw you over there Scotto25, were you the one with the Black Oil/Dirt hands eating Buffalo Wings and licking your fingers?

Are we recruiting any Defensive Tackles? That is an area where we need a lot of help.

The recruits that were at Hooters on Saturday were 2 DB's, 1 WR, and 1 LB. Didn't ask Wingerter if they had or were searching for any DT's but he made it sound like they were 2 guys away from wrapping things up.

CajunDudu, Is Jermaine Rodgers a Brandon Cox?? No, not even close. You cannot make a comparison between these two athletes. As a student/athlete on the college level, I've been there and done that. Athletes get special privileges and there's no If's And's or But's about it. I've seen these guys before and 85% of them are just after the "Free Lunch" in the Union. Hopefully this guys pans out and turns into a decent student/athlete. But don't try to make a comparison to my boy Cox b/c he is a One of a Kind type of Guy. It is all about you making comments concerning a particular athlete that you know little about, clearly that was obvious in your previous post. I think our coaches are doing a good job with recruiting. I saw a few guys @ Hooters on Saturday and a few of them looked really solid.

On Rivals.com it says that the DE Jermaine Rodgers Signed a Letter of Intent with UAB!! He had given us a Solid Verbal, but we all know that doesn't mean SQUAT until the pen and paper meet on a dotted line. Guess we're still hunting for a DE too!

Rodgers signed with UAB last year but never enrolled there. He is already enrolled in classes at UL. You can count him as definitely in the fold.

Can't sweat McCants too much. He was an unknown entity. Played football for 1 year in high school. Was a tuba player by trade. may end up being a world beater may not. Best of luck to him where ever he winds up. Jermaine Rodgers was a 3 star defensive end out of high school.

Dadblamit, we will probably never get to hear how good a tuba player he was. I think he should reconsider... again. But, anyone who cannot make up his mind is not worthy in my opinion... I guess?
