If I was them I'd give a call to Willie Fritz at Sam Houston St. At Sam Houston he runs the ball out of the pistol a lot...similar to Malzhan in that it is more of a power spread. He doesn't go uptempo like Malzhan. The personel at ASU would fit the system.

Default LaTech's Sonny Dykes to California

Louisiana Tech's Sonny Dykes will be named the new football coach at California, replacing Jeff Tedford, according to sources.

Dykes, 43, led Louisiana Tech to a 9-3 season that included road wins over Illinois and Virginia and a 59-57 loss to Texas A&M. The Bulldogs were 22-15 in three seasons under Dykes.

Cal (3-9) went 2-7 in the Pac-12 under Tedford this season
