Our basketball team has not played in several days and it will be a few more days until they do. Football played their last regular season game a few days ago. That is one reason there is some discussion about Tech's bowl situation here. In fact, there has been discussion of it on a national level. As basketball starts up again and we get closer to the New Orleans Bowl, there will be less talk about Tech.

Wondering what your thoughts are on the Big XII? They have been very quite in the whole conference scramble. They are down to ten, and the only ones that matter are Oklahoma, and UT. Clearly as in the past OSU will tailcoat OK.

Does the Big XII get Clemson, FSU to get that championship game? Do they go for more?, Miami, and G Tech?

Clearly if the ACC loses those big hitter the whole conference is up for grabs after the earlier defections. Will the ACC become a better Big East, and the Big East continue to become a better C USA?

We all know s runs downhill, so where will this all end? Four conferences of 16-20 and the rest become even more minor players?

Very interesting and unlikley move from Ruston to Berkeley. Culture shock to say the least, both by Dykes and by the Cal fans. They do like the brand of offensive football he plays, however. Need to find a way to keep up with Oregon.
