----Great question---the answer is that 9 wins came from beating teams that didn't have winning records and that in fact some had like 1-2 wins----this translates I would assume in their being ranked higher than they should be ranked!!! Think that this presents a pretty fair argument-----And BTW quit stealing the property of a UL alumnus---George Rodrigue has the rights of the Blue Dog!!!!! LOL and thanks for your concern about me!!! OOOPPPSSS I forgot that T San Antonio has a winning record with their tough schedule!!!

This pull for the other teams in the state is so much BS---Think about the Tigers---Does anybody think that they were pulling for the Cajuns to beat Florida??? I hope really that every state school other than UL loses every week--the Only exception is that I guess I would pull for Monroe over you guys since they are in our conference-----No doubt you feel the same way as well as all the guys on your Tech board!!! Think Monroe pulls for the Cajuns??? We are just so glad that UL finally has a chance to reach its potential of all the great things we have to work with that haven't been tapped through the years---What a difference this school has become in 3 short years!!!

If Tech/UL were in same conference that would be different.....but I for one am glad y'all have had a great turn around. This has been a great year for NON-LSU football...& LSU fans hate the fact that they're not getting all the attention.

Well, actually Boomer... LSU was rooting for UL to beat Florida. Not for us, but for themselves. Anyone losing, that is above them in the rankings... they don't care who beats them during the regular season. LSU thought at the time that if we beat Florida, it put LSU in the Sugar Bowl with Notre Dame. Now... that is all out the window... but they were pulling for UL to beat Florida.

I disagree with you on "UL finally has the chance to reach its potential". We always "had a chance to reach our potential". Everyone always does. We are just scratching the surface with minimal effort. What I think is happening now is that our administration is happy with how things are going, some fans are happy about how things are going, and we're about to start coasting. Coasting is going to make us lose altitude. We need to get T-Joe back into the hunt. We need to set dates for all of the athletic facility improvements... and wrestle the hell out of everyone to make those dates a reality. Slow playing this is not how anything gets accomplished in this particular circumstance.
