For the second straight year, the University of Miami has decided to declare itself ineligible for postseason play. If you remember, they're waiting for the NCAA to lower the boom on the Nevin Shapiro scandal.
This will probably ensure there will be no further postseason ban.
If Ohio State had done this last year instead of letting their ego get in the way, they'd be playing for the national championship this year.
That means North Carolina, Miami, Penn State and Ohio State are all ineligible.
And that makes it even more likely that all Sun Belt teams that qualify will be in a bowl game.
