NOOoooooo! We have much better coach now, eventhough Dykes might not be around too much longer. Dooley's record @ Tech wasn't exactly stellar! He was actually a better AD than he was HC. I wish him the best though. His buyout is unbelievable!!! A big CONGRATS to Cajuns for turning around season...

I hear he has a spot on the Indy Bowl committee if he's interested. Missy basically said, "Derek is welcome to come back to Shreveport and resume his role of deciding who plays in the Indy Bowl." Northern Illinois was elated at that announcement. NIU sent a notification to all Chicago area media that they may return to the Indy Bowl. Chicago yawned. Davison called ESPN and told them he would give them another $5 million if they went along with the "no one will watch a regional football contest"... again. ESPN hung up on him.

    Thanks for the Congrats!

La Tech or ULM should be in this game ... I hope ULM does so maybe they will bring a crowd (and for them a crowd is over 3k).

Did anyone notice Browning played for them as they beat UNT (cusa wannabee)?

They can easily bring Chavis in at $3-3.5 million... I guarantee Tennessee is salivating at the opportunity to bring in Chavis' defensive scheme to Knoxville.
If Chavis refuses then i think they would go after Chucky (John Grudden)... They need a defensive minded coach
UT said in the press conference that they would be going after a head coach from a BCS conference... Coordinators need not apply.

I wonder what head coach in a BCS conference would leave where they are now. Tennessee will want one having success and that guy may be reluctant to leave. I guess someone from the Big East or ACC may look at moving.

Just did a quick google on this question
    http://www.nooga.com/158522/whos-nex...ng-candidates/

    This article is LOL.
These people have a very inflated opinion of the UT job.
They have candidates listed that would never leave there current job to come to UT.

A few of the names they listed.

    Jon Gruden
    Jimbo Fisher
    Bob Stoops
    Jim Mora Jr.

    LOL
Like any of those guys would leave where they are now to go to UT.
After reading that non sense im halfway surprised Nick Saban and Sean Payton did not make the list.
