Just saw on all access on Katc showing when the players came back to the locker room from pregame warm ups to the black jerseys in the lockers. The reactions are all you need to see and will prove that although some fans think we put too much emphasis on uniforms, it makes a difference to these kids. I follow a few of the players on instagram and the past 2 days have been nothing but pics ofthem in the black unis....so next time anyone says uniforms or what we wear isn't important... I beg to differ.

I know someone on here posted this a few months ago, but it also points to how players think these days about uniforms.

That is the best testament to how something relatively simple, and what some may call a "gimmick", can inspire a group of kids. Thanks for posting this and reminding everyone that it is, ultimately, a game, and should be fun.

Thinking back .... it's been two and a half year since this stroke of genius came and went.

It needs to come back. Replicas of the French jerseys could be still be sold around the world.

I registered a domain when these jerseys first came out in 2012 with the idea selling Ragin Cajuns merch it was called Cajunthreds.com

RED in CajunthREDs was going to be a play on "threads" you wear and obviously Vermilion red.

I let it go when the U dropped the cULture concept.

If the jerseys come back at some point I'm thinking I should register it again.

……probably the coolest thing ever for Cajun football……I remember going to play ltur and warming up at the hotel…..we got on the bus, to the stadium, out the bus and kicked off…..a great Cajun win over the Techies’ Homecoming! With great defense I outscored them with TD, FG, and EPts!!!
