It's the cULture! Can't overstatextgecneedcto pounce on this and grow the concept.
For starters I would like to get a French speaking broadcaster in the booth and feed it to a Quebec and/or France broadcast outlet(s).
Then in a few years we can open the season in France. Which with Louisiana's history (in my opinion) would be less pompous than Notre Dame opening in Dublin like they did this year.
How did the Irish get their own TV contract? Wide based support, about 40 million U.S. residents are of Irish decent.
There are over 11 million U.S. residents of French decent.
It's just a niche but UL can tap it.
The French broadcast (idea) is the cement that makes the english broadcast an enticing selling point to the networks.
Affiliation interest cannot be overstated.
