Which bowl game would you like to see us in?

all of the 3 have positives, although the Independance bowl still has be ____ed off as heck from 2008. With that said, we can bring our talents to that part of the state with a great crowd and possibly against either Tech or a BCS school, would be nice. New Orleans is the biggest hope at this point because I have no negatives to even conceive for that bowl game. The Godaddy also wouldn't be bad because I've always dreamed of going to a bowl game in January, its not a New Years Day bowl, but there's something really cool about playing that late in the year.

Playing in Mobile on New Years Day might be a little like playing in Fargo Idaho on Mardi Gras day. It's a great town but they don't party by Louisiana standards.

I think you are only allowed a certain number of practices, regardless of when you play

And by your standards, I guess we didn't deserve to win last year against San Diego State in the NO Bowl either?

My standards? Hell no buddy. All I'm saying is sometime the chips fall your way and sometimes they don't. We had NO business winning last night, much like Flordia had no business winning last week, but they did.

Side note: UNT man handed us in the 2nd half and on that night, the better team won.

Anyone picking the Independance Bowl has likely never spent any significant amount of time in Shreveport. I would much rather play in the Dome than freez my _____ of in Independance stadium. Which is a dump by the way.

1) NOLA Bowl we know will be a blast but we already have the hardware for that game.
2) Independence Bowl - An easy drive for Cajun fans. This is my pick.
3) Go Daddy Bowl - An easy drive for me and Mobile is a neat little city but it would be my last choice.
Tell us which bowl you want us in and why.

IMO, always the N.O. bowl but that's just me. I can't think of a more fun trip unless we were playing in a higher tier bowl against a solid opponent.

We didn't deserve to win tonight.

We finished the game and were more physical than WKU. We showed more heart and made the plays when we had to to win. We deserved the win. The only thing that gave them the lead was turnovers and that is the only thing that slowed our offense down. I would have said that WKU didn't deserve to win had the outcome been different.

I think his point is that last week and this week are essentially a wash. That brings up another question that might be worth discussing in light of this. Which would you prefer? A win last week, and a loss tonight? Or the opposite?

I would normally say that a conference win would have to be more important but considering we have very little chance left to win or even tie for conference, I would say the Florida win would have been more important for our program. However, WKU had killed us the last two years and we needed a measure of payback against those guys, especially in a game we were more physical than them for a change. I don't know if I would give that one back.
