    Everyone in the city was happy with the cajun fans last year. All of the shop owners that we talked to said how nice the fans were and also that our fans came ready to spend money not just in the restaurants and bars but at the shops and vendors around the french quarter.

    Bravo. The best seat for viewing the game is in your livingroom. The best seat for experiencing the game is any seat in the dome. I plan to do both: Enjoy the experience in New Orleans, then watch the Cajuns win (I hope) about 10 more times between now and August.

    I do too. SDSU held us the entire game or we would have stomped them.

    i went monday to "buy" my tickets...well they had me fill out the order form and said they'd call. Still haven't received a call. Looks like i'll be going through ticketmaster. Holy unorganized batman; you think they would have learned from last year.

    Or maybe you would have learned. Everyone else had to fill out an order form but you expected special treatment?

    How is this a mess??
    It takes time for them to get your tickets in
    I ordered mine last Monday and got them yesterday. So it took a week and a half
    Have patience
    You will get a call probably Monday or Tuesday

    I'm curious what ticket sales through the athletic departments of every school look like? How do we rank among the big boys? Keep in mind that I'm talking about through the athletic departments. I'm bet we're higher up on the list that we realize.

    BfH, just to let you know that Hannagriff on Billy's show on Thursday said that 10K tickets were sold to the Chicken Bowl. If we "pass the hat" we may be able to buy the other 6,000 tickets for Louisiana State fans.

    I saw a recent Orlando article where UF had sold only 6, 500 for the Sugar Bowl.

    @hammer

    Not surprising you lack reading comprehension. No where in my post did I say I expected special treatment. I did expect to receive what I was told I'd receive. On the radio and basketball games the announcement says "go get your tickets for the bowl game at the box office!"

    Not "uhh go fill out a form. Wait a week or two; not know whether you will have tickets or not a week prior to the game; and we may call you back ."

    Its OK I went through ticketmaster. All is good now.
