Most of the high school football prospects making official visits to the UL program this weekend have been talking.
More precisely, they've been issuing verbal commitments.
Four of the seven players reportedly visiting the Cajuns Friday, today and Sunday have previously given verbal pledges to the UL program, and two others have verbally committed to other schools.
The Cajuns have nine verbal commitments just under three weeks away from the Feb. 7 opening day of national letter of intent signing, and four - defensive back Grant Fleming and wide receiver Lance Kelley of St. Thomas More, offensive lineman Kyle Plouhar of Mandeville-Fontainebleau, and running back Jonathan Thomas of Sugarland, Texas-Dulles - are slated to be on campus this weekend.
