According to USM fans, he wasnt on the field for Senior Day. His players asked that he not participate.

Also his wife has gone bat crazy, calling up posters on their message boards after somehow tracking down phone numbers and going off on them...

    I think he's done.

HUD makes more than Ellis Johnson does now, after they pay Johnson's a 2 million dollar buyout, not sure how much money they will have left to hire. Why would HUD want to go to a weaker conference?

I think I heard Jay say on his show today that his sources tell him the Cajuns are the Independence Bowl's top choice at this time. If I did not hear this correctly, please clarify. I think we would have good attendance at a game in Shreveport on a Friday afternoon three days after Christmas. In fact, it would tell the world we can travel a little distance. Regardless of where we go, it is important to win the game as many schools go to bowl games while only 35 win a game.

    Playing whom?

As much as I want no part of Shreveport, of course I would go.
