I love outside input but it cracks me up that you want to shut out history on a board you are visiting.

I wouldn't know. I never go there. A Tech person started this thread regarding the Indy. It was pretty natural to have it slide into our only prior Indy experience. And seriously, no Tech person should be "visiting" and telling us when and how to review the past, present and future. My advice to anyone that wants a subject to discontinue... keep your own trap shut.

    I really didn't mean "no". I guess I meant no outside...irritating...obnoxious...self-serving...selective memory...input.

All right........I never meant for it to come out in a negative way. I see I have red.....I'll only be back to see how things are going. I respect a lot of you guys on this board and, of course, Jay. I promise, I will not post any more. Good luck to you guys and UL.

The New Orleans Bowl will take the best candidate for that individual year. They are not going to deal with what ifs.

What don't you get about 14K bigger than they ever had before? So maybe this year we are less enthused say at 7-5 than last season and it is only 10K more than the prior record. That is still probably about 10K more than MoanROW. Yea that is what I am saying MoanROW will not exceed prior records. Given that who will be champs next season, and the following? I don't know but they will very likely bring not less than 2k the prior record and probably around the same. HELL it may even be a 9-3 UL and even more crazies.
So if we win Saturday, we should have the Nola bowl invite by Monday, because we are a lock and we need to get started selling tickets. Nothing else matters to them as long as we are bowl eligible.

Some of Tech's bowl matchups, going by memory only.......Maryland, Clemson, Louisville, East Carolina, N. Illinois, TCU..............none are area state teams. I can only imagine what the I-Bowl folks think about a game involving UL, ULM, or Tech, despite how giddy some would be to see a Ulm vs. Tech matchup.

Now really, UL has something special happening NOW. Time to look FORWARD, not back. Or, 2008 can be re-hashed over and over again by UL fans until a future date when nobody remembers or cares, whichever comes first.
So now you're trying to say N. Illinois would book more overnight stays than UL or ULM? C'mon man. Think this through a bit.

It's your decision to post or not. You seem intelligent enough to know that you don't get on an opposing program's forum and tell them what they should and should not post. Regardless, thanks for the well wishes. Stay safe.

I think Utah State's win puts them in the Potato Bowl.

I think Tech could be headed to Shreveport....it will be interesting to see if they'd be willing to play ULM or us if both sides of that bowl are open......
