Only if ASU is accommodated in Memphis, provided they get a part of the championship.

    Where does Ark State go?

Liberty Bowl, provided that Mississippi State takes care of business Saturday and beats Ole Miss, and aTm beats Mizzou as expected. ASU will do for Liberty attendance what we did for New Orleans.

Boomer this is the first year I do not see lots of USM prospects from the state voicing their desire to possibly hook up in Hattiesburg.
I would assume the usm coach will be back. He has a 3 year contract and the buyout would be too big after the first year of a 3 year deal.

    Rumor has him out.

No! There are plenty of guys who could easily write that check. One is B Farbe for example. It all depends on how far you want to see your university fall. The game day lost sales will more than equal buying up the knucklehead contact. I hope you are right though.

A head coaching job opening at USM worries me.

It worrys me that USM may hire a good coach and cut into our New Orleans and MS/AL Gulf Coast recruiting. If you are worried about Hud to USM, don't. It won't happen. That would slam any door he had open at Mississippi State.

According to USM fans, he wasnt on the field for Senior Day. His players asked that he not participate.

Also his wife has gone bat crazy, calling up posters on their message boards after somehow tracking down phone numbers and going off on them...

    I think he's done.

HUD makes more than Ellis Johnson does now, after they pay Johnson's a 2 million dollar buyout, not sure how much money they will have left to hire. Why would HUD want to go to a weaker conference?
