I wish I could find the thread where I gave the full definition. Basically I call the UL offensive line and defensive line "Time Machines"

The OL lenghtens time for the QB and receivers while the DL shrinks time for the opponents QB and WR corp.

Here are some past references. . . not that it helps out of context.

It all starts with the Time Machines.

I think it has more to do with the new "Time Machines" up front.

aka "Offensive Line"

Both were Starting UL Defenseive Ends. Members of the Defensive Time Machine.

These are the guys who could have stole some of the time that allowed the LSU receivers to run down the field and get wide open.
