Anyone know why Q is off the team?
Sorry Boomer. Got to disagree with you on this one. If the reports about his alleged drug use are indeed true, then I/we don't owe this kid anything. UL gave him his chance to succeed by providing him a free education and providing him with all of the tools (tutors, etc.) necessary to obtain his degree. Unless this kid has been living in a cave for the last year, then he was well aware of the situation with the Honey Badger and the repercussions associated with his choices in regards to drug use. If this kid can't see the opportunity that has been provided to him by UL via athletics and can't control his urge to smoke weed, then I say cut him loose and find a kid of better character to give his scholarship to. Let Griffin's family get him the help that he needs for his problem because it sure ain't the responsibility of me or UL.
Big Z,
Doing well my friend. Heard that you have been working out of state. Still driving the old ride or did you donate it in the Smithsonian and get a new one?
Take care my friend and if I see you at a game (football, basketball or softball), I will buy you a cold one and we can talk about your love for Authement! LOL!

Yea --you make very good solid points but the "if they are indeed true" part kinda says lets wait and see---Through the years as a player coach and even fan I have seen situations like this and they play out both ways both in an athletic career and future life choices!!!
