If I had to guess probably grades, but who knows that the gamble you take when you go for those guys. There's a reason why they aren't at BCS schools with that talent coming out of high school.
Quinn was one of my favorite players too, and this news about TA is devastating. Our team is running on fumes and I honestly don't know if we can close out the season on big note. I hope I'm wrong!
Oh man this is not good.
As much as it sucks, I have no doubt Hud is preaching "next man up." And that's what it should be. The backups are on scholarship, too. If he's going to give away the opportunity he was given here because he's a knucklehead (or for whatever he did/rules he violated), then it's somebody else's chance to make their name.
The next man up is Molbert who started last year so we should be fine. This really hurts the depth of the line backers.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Highly regarded starting inside linebacker Qyen Griffin has been suspended for the rest of the season for "repeated violation of team rules," Ragin' Cajuns coach Mark Hudspeth said after arrival in Florida on Friday night for today's game against the No. 7 Gators.
Can Andrew Hebert be moved back to LB to provide depth? He isn't getting on the field at TE anyway.
Steve just said on the radio he was dismissed from the team. Which is it? For the season or off the team?
From the Advertiser:
The Cajuns originally announced disciplinary action against Griffin to be a dismissal, but Hudspeth later said he will "make a decision on his future after the end of this season."
