Seriously, we are not projected to play in the NO Bowl by any of the sites Andre listed.

I'm sure none of these people understand how the new Orleans bowl tie in works, they all assume the champion goes there, which at this point, we don't look very likely to be the champion

yesterday many of the sites still had ulm projected for New Orleans, but most of these sites probably haven't analyzed what effect ulm losing their qb will have on that team. So after a ulm loss this weekend we'll see that New Orleans bowl projection begin to shift. It might not shift to us, but it will probably begin to shift

Thanks Andre. I think we either end up in New Orleans or Mobile. Seeing that Detroit is on December 26th makes it even a worse situation than discussed in the other thread (for Cajun attendance).

i would love to go to the heart of dallas bowl
one it is on January 1st
two gives me chance to experience something new (I can go to NOLA whenever)
three the payout is way more and i think we would still draw a large crowd
four we may get to play a big 10 or big 12 school
five it is played in the historic cotton bowl

SMU would bring a lot of people from nearby Dallas and will be in the Big East next year. Better attendance numbers with them.
