White lines, yardage markers and the Logo on either end of the building. Lets get a little artsy, HA!Originally Posted by rhineaux
i say white! i don't want it to look like a mcdonalds!
Since the main structure won't be air conditioned, it should be a white roof, which would give us the best reflective surface in a painted/baked on structure.
Show me a McDonalds with a Gable roof, most are Mansard roofs so there is ZERO danger of looking like McDonalds.Originally Posted by jamesthejeweler
This school and town could use a little infusion of vermilion spirit, it has faded through the years. The Pavilions of Lourdes Park are done with a Kynar 500 finish in architectural red, don't know what that means exactly.Originally Posted by cjr3888
From the corner of Congress and Bertrand we can see the Kynar 500 red roof structures of Lourdes Park and the white roofed maintenance facility. If someone looks at that contrast and doesn't pick Vermilion, well as far as I'm concerned there is no comparison.
Besides this roof will be visible for every football game and will add to the atmosphere.
Kynar 500 is just saying that they have "special paint" on it. It truely is a better coating that does last longer.
Here is the structure as seen through the Swamp from Congress.
Very visible. Time to start painting Lafayette Vermilion.

How about the "NEW" Army green??
Sand color.....(light tan).....it's not white.....supports our troops....and doesn't absorb as much heat as the dark colors.
Consistancy!?!?! Must have the Vermillion roof and the Desert tan on the walls!Originally Posted by CAJUNJUDO
