Predictions based on some fact are good for sports radio. Acctually, I'd go so far as to say the more wrong the guy is, the more it helps the buzz for the show. Its just fun to bust his chops to me.

BOP is far from the only person that was wrong about that prediction. If you would have told me a week ago that this game would be decided by over 20 points I would have said so OSU was as good as advertised. Lately I had started getting the feeling that Florida would get the win in a game that came down to the wire but I never thought they would go in and completely beat down OSU

During pregame the announcers said how Urban Meyer's wife said she thought the Boise State game was the best she'd ever seen. Meyer told her to wait until they played. While they were as close to perfect as you can get, it's unfortunate that Ohio State didn't have an answer to anything.

My vote stays with the Boise State vs. OU game. Best bowl game I've ever seen!

However, it was a bad time to be BOP this past Tuesday night. Got a call from Coach Raymond Blanco. The governor asked him to call me and invite my wife and me to be her guest at the Saints game this Saturday night.

But here I am in Bowling Green, KY instead to call a basketball game where we are 17 point underdogs, and not only could I not go to the game and be the Governor's guest, I can't even WATCH it.

You should have had Stevie P. go up there for the basketball game. You did call a pretty good game though. I may have been the only one in Louisiana listening last night, but I did catch much of your broadcast while watching the Saints.
