If the Gators defense dominates (as they do against just about any team they play, so no knock on the Cajuns), then the score difference may depend in some part on how much the Gators are willing to show on offense. Against Bowling Green, the Gators kept things very vanilla on offense and looked terrible but that was the first game. Now that FSU already has plenty of game tape on the Gators and the Gators O has struggled, unfortunately for the Cajuns the Gators may try to open things up and get some confidence back offensively. If they open it up, I think they can score over 40 on any sunbelt team because they have some serious talent and Driskell is a good QB who can run, even though their offense has been mediocre against good SEC defenses.
I hope it is a lot closer, but I am thinking 47 - 17, with Cajuns scoring some points late in garbage time. If Gators have a very vanilla offense, then score may be around 30 - 7.
I wish the Cajuns would get to play big name BCS schools during down years (like UF last year or Tennessee or Arkansas this year). Seems like other Sunbelt schools have had that good fortune this year. Arizona last year was a good opportunity. UF is a top 5 team that is looking to get confidence on offense and has a top 5 defense, similar to Alabama and LSU's defenses. Very tough matchup.
