UL baseball coach Tony Robichaux says his team needs to get "weathered." The weather forecast for San Antonio isn't that bad today through Sunday, but Robichaux's version of "weathering" has to do more with his Ragin' Cajuns going on the road than it does with the climate. They'll get that road opportunity beginning at 5 p.m. today when the UL squad meets Texas-San Antonio (0-1) in the first of a three-game series. UL meets the Roadrunners at 2 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday in the other contests at Roadrunner Field. "Being on the road helps this time of year," Robichaux said. "The bottom line is to get weathered, to get ready to face that. The conference tournament's not on our home field, you've got to pretty much go on the road for the NCAA's and the College World Series definitely isn't played in Lafayette." Cajuns beat UTSA today 5-2. Brett Solich went 6.2 shutout innings for his first collegiate win. Allowed six hits, struck out seven with two walks.

Kolin Hatfield and Nolan Gisclair each knocked in two runs for the Cajuns, who scored single runs in five different innings.

Cajuns go for the sweep tomorrow at 1. They'll face UTSA's ace tomorrow.

Cajuns will decide tonight who throws for UL tomorrow.
