  Lisa Marie Brouillette, of Carencro, and Blake Anthony Chachere, of Scott, will be united in marriage on October 10, 2009 at 1:00 PM at St. John Berchmans Catholic Church in Cankton, LA.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Brent and Karen Brouillette, of Carencro. She is the granddaughter of Odell and Bernice Brouillette Gremillion and the late Tema Brousillette, of Marksville, and Marion and Genevieve Mayeux, of Marksville. She is a graduate of Carencro High School and the University of Louisiana. She is employed as an Accountant with Lafayette General Medical Center.

The groom-elect is the son of Lloyd Edmond and Angelia Chachere of Scott. He is the grandson of Rosalind and the late Lloyd Elmo Chachere, of Eunice, and Jessie and Ruby Guidry, of Lafayette. He is a graduate of Carencro High School and the University of Louisiana. He is employed with SLEMCO.

_ yes, actually we did. pee pee's my boyfriend. we lost our spot because now that UL's actually playing well, they want to start charging $50 for the spots AND you must have season tickets. that area is where most of the students tailgate. apparently they forgot that when UL was horrible (which wasn't that long ago), the true fans were the ones that were out there in the rain and cold and dressed up in team spirit to support the cajuns no matter how bad they were. amnesia is a terrible thing.... _

What's worse is having the 2nd lowest funded program in 1A college football. The changes are necessary if we are ever going to really be competitive. There is a price for success. Thanks for remaining true fans.

I met him a couple of years ago in Lafayette. Very funny guy, and loves him some Cajuns.
