Sorry this has taken so long.

The fans who attended the game on Sat. had the opportunity to contribute to a fund to assist the sister and nephew of one of McNeese's basektball players who lost all (or certainly most) of their belongings in a house fire approx 10 days earlier. I forgot the amount collected, but the point is that contributors included Cajun fans. For that, I thank you.

I have already accepted that this year had to be sacrificed to get us out of the short term, quick fix, mode that we were in.

I call that the "Michael Southall experiement" (tm) and yes, the transition from that is going to be very, very painful.

I just can't wait to get to the other side of this tunnel.
