I'd like to pick up that PS3, in large part to the HD BlueRay DVD player. But i am waiting on the TV until I buy a house in the summer, plus i think i read somehwere that there is a big thing happening between BluRay and regular HD D___ and that the production companies will only use one kind, whichever is more popular with the public, and if you get caught with the wrong one, you may be screwed. actually, i think my buddy read that and told me about it. Anyone else know anything about it?
Get a 360. Cheaper and in my opinion better. Although you can't beat free online play w/ ps3. Only thing is, in my opinion, don't waist your money on a new game console unless you have a HD TV. That is what I'm waiting on to get a 360

The price of the 360 has to drop a little very soon. They are going up against the Wii and PS3. The Wii from what I understand is just a little better than the Game Cube. BTW I've seen the 360 on a tube tv and looks okay.

I am sure it looks just as good on a tube. But that is just my only justification of getting a 360, is for me to have a HD TV.

Agreed. those things were made to go on an HD set. If you were to get a 360, and use it on your regular tv, then don't you dare look at one hooked up to an HD tv, you'll certainly go home disappointed. but, there can't really be that much difference between the old and new Xbox to warrant buying that and the TV, not like there was the improvement from the PS to PS2. that was an astronomical jump.

Sure you can. Right now I am paying College Hoops 2k7 on the original xbox. You save the rosters just like you do for football. Buy Action Replay for unmodded consoles or do like me and us Xbox Saves Manager on a modded Box. Download the rosters here.

but I think right now he just has 360 version rosters.

As far as the game itself, It's pretty fun to play. Cool thing is you can actually edit the school. The announcers kinda get annoying call Ross "HE-bert" and La La us to death but you can turn them off. I had to add Gray, Williams and Bloom(redshirted him too). Every one else is there though and surprisingly accurate.

I've never really liked the college hoops games , but for NBA i've always preferred the 2K series over EA's NBA Live .So If you must, go for 2k's college hoops. And , I cant even tell you how much i love ncaa football 2k7. I dunno if anybody else has tried this , but whenever I sub Babb with D-Mo , he ends up with 350+ pass yards and 4 tds.But when I start him , its 2 INT's and a TD at best.Weird!

And somebody else asked about the Wii .. I got one on the release day .And it rocks!IF you have kids or if you have a lot of friends over , nothing beats a wii.We had a party last weekend and playing tennis drunk on the wii is just a whole lotta fun , and you don't even need a HDTV to get the most out of it unlike the PS3 or the 360.
