Thanks choppie but I'm looking for college games mostly. Does anyone have the arena football game and do they have the New Orleans Voodoo? I believe it came out the year of Katrina and New Orleans didn't field a team.

I am most positive they will ahve them. they are returning this year. In fact, I talked to a buddy of mine from high school who was offered a try-out for them. He is heading over there in the next few weeks. he told me that they extended the roster limits so that there will actually be offenses and defenses this year, not guys plaing both ways. I guess the league is doing well and making some good money to do that. More players means a lot more salary.

back to the games. i picked up the College baseball last year for PS2. they should have it for XBox as well. I was pretty good. I did notice that the rosters werent' very updated. it came out in march or february '06, but Austin Faught (stud on the game, much better than in real life and he was real good in real life), Ardoin, Morris, hawke, etc were all still players. their talents were accurate. Bunt with coker all the time because they couldn't throw him out. Morris/Hawke hit some monster shots. pitching fell off after Faught/Ardoin. Lucroy could hit everything. Justin Morgan was slow. Etc. So, if you decide to go that route for this year, make sure they have updated it enough. it was a pretty good game, though. homerun Derby, finesse hitting competitions, build your own stadium plus many other real stadiums to choose from, and you could play full or abbreviated seasons, all the way to the CWS.

that is all i know about games this year.

College basketball games are pretty much horrible. However, the baseball game that came out last year is really fun and hopefully this year they will have more stadiums

Here is a great idea. Look into getting someone to put a mod chip in your kids xbox. It's only like $75 plus the cost of a bigger hard drive. Your kid will be able to rent games, save them to the xbox and never have to buy another game. I did it a few months ago and all I do is rent games, save them, and return them. If the games suck, delete them.

You can't change the roster etc.. like the football games?

I thnk that you can create players and such, and you go through the recruiting process if you play in some sort of dynasty mode over several seasons, but you can't import new, updated, real rosters. you could though create all 40 players with their personal stats and ratings, but that owuld take forever.

Anyone deal with the XB 360, Wii, or the PS3 yet?

I'd like to pick up that PS3, in large part to the HD BlueRay DVD player. But i am waiting on the TV until I buy a house in the summer, plus i think i read somehwere that there is a big thing happening between BluRay and regular HD D___ and that the production companies will only use one kind, whichever is more popular with the public, and if you get caught with the wrong one, you may be screwed. actually, i think my buddy read that and told me about it. Anyone else know anything about it?
