KILL THE VILLE, KILL THE VILLE, KILL THE VILLE......
KILL THE VILLE, KILL THE VILLE, KILL THE VILLE......
I will say in advance that the following is from my personal experience. Playing at Loreauville is tough for CHS. I remember getting spit on by their fans and beer bottles thrown at our bus. And the best one was when I was a young one on the team; we had a player injured on the last play of the game laying in the middle of the field. While the training staff was attending to him and the team on the sidelines, they turned the lights off on us. So to say the rivalry does not go deep and have a colorful history is an understatement.
GAME DAY! CATHOLICS VS CONVICTS IN THE JUNGLE!
Kill. The. Ville.
That is all.
Hope everyone enjoyed their time in my stadium. The stadium was full and fans piled into my personal spot, which is by the locker room door. I ended up behind the goal post by the end of the game. Now about that game, you can't turn the ball over 3 times and expect to win the game.
LHS lost it because of the stretch from the end of the second to the end of the third when your best players were cramping. This seemed to be an issue last year too. I know your coach had a lot of building to do when he got there, but it might be time to focus on conditioning next off season. Just an observation.
I was very impressed with the way LHS never quit, even down 31. Usually high school kids pack it in when it's going that bad....that's a credit to your staff and kids.
Look forward to continuing the rivalry next year with Pellerin at the helm!
I said it in the 2nd quarter, it was clear who the better conditioned team was. I knew that going into the game.
