I think the most important lesson of the season this far is how quickly a motivational analogy can become a sarcastic barb.

I'm not reading through all of the pages of this thread to see if this has already been said, so if so, i apologize.
We were leading or tied the entire 2nd half until there was under 2 minutes left. And we handed the ball off exactly twice in the entire second half!! And we had 100 yards rushing in the first half. There were 6 total "running" plays. Broadway had 3 carries, at least one of which was a scramble off a pass play, and the snap that he wasnt ready for was called a run by Reed.
TWO handoffs!!! With a second half lead!! Absolutely ridiculous. Oh, and the passing wasn't working! So our defense was on the field the whole time, and that was definitely evident in the poor tackling as the game went on. There's no way to spin it, the play calling in the 2nd half lost this game...period.
