As the music of Roddie Romero and the Hub City All-Stars poured from the Ma Louisiane stage, the clouds danced in the sky, giving the revelers at Girard Park a break from the afternoon sun. A pleasant breeze carried the aromas of etoufees and andouille sausage, fried meats and funnel cakes. By all accounts the 38th Festivals Acadiens et Creoles was a roaring success, a true celebration of Cajun/Creole culture.
