Thread: Brodhead era under way at UL

  1. Default Brodhead era under way at UL

The UL Ragin' Cajuns women's basketball team is only seven practices into the 2012-13 season and they have quickly learned that first-year head coach Garry Brodhead and his coaching staff are adamant about two things "" effort and defense.

After the mass exodus (common with a new coach) he was down to 5 scholarship players.

I might be wrong but I think he still has room to recruit.

I figured as much. But the article says several players were cut. And Broadhead brought in 7 of his own.

Just didn't know if any were significant

I always said there is no reason for our women's bball to not be able to contend yr end yr out at the SBC level. Looks like Broadhead could be the guy to get us there.

Lots of local talent. Maybe as good as many of the Sun Belt teams. Time will tell. No one can say what about the local talent we keep passing up, this is lots of local talent, and it looks pretty good on paper.
