Any stats or info on McCoy? What about T. Richarson...is he still apart of the team?

McCoy was the defensive MVP in Texas 3A. Led his Tatum team to an undefeated 16-0 State Championship. Had a couple of picks in the championship game, one returned for a TD. Was a LB in HS, projected as a SS here.

Way too many variables for me to have an opinion, given the coaching changes and the nature of recruits/existing players at his positions [FB/LB].

I think he would have a greater impact as a LB, but it is much too early to have a valid opinion.
