Thread: Espn's "32 for XX"

    Default Espn's "32 for XX"

Not sure how many of these documentaries they are going to make but I think these are some of the best shows ever created for sports fans. Also check out Bill Simmons (the brain child behind 30 for 30's) website grantland.com for some good reads. Just wanted to see what was the consensus favorite of the documentaries. The one on the U and Marcus Dupre were probably two of my favorites, but after watching 9.79* I think this season will have some great shows. Hard for me to understand why Carl Lewis received athlete of the century for the 20th century with all of that controversy.

The Marcus Dupree one was great. I also like Pony Excess. The Ali one, The Todd Marinovich one, and the USFL ones were great too.

Tool bad the USL death penalty happened before ESPN...that would make a great one.

You beat me to it. That one was great. I've enjoyed all of them though.

The U, The Two Escobars, Once Brothers (Divac), The Best That Never Was (Dupree) are my favorites. Two Escobars being the top one for me.

I was hoping "Lights out in Blackham". This would be great to Feburary with basketball being at its height

The U, Small Potatoes (USFL) and Pony Excess were my favorites. Never got a chance to the ones about Steve Bartman and the Red Sox-Yankees series in '04.

I'm hoping "Lights Out at Blackham" makes it to NetFlix.

The worst one was the Tyson/Tupac episode.

Didn't care for that one too much.
