How about Vermilion and White uniforms?

I know, I know. I'm crazy for even suggesting we use the school colors, but hey, isn't that what College is all about? Doing insane things that defy the status quo? Just going nuts man!

Then again, I've always been a rebel. Never been one to follow the herd. I guess not everyone can think independently enough to embrace such a mind-altering concept as using the...official...school....colors......

I'd rather have Jake Delhomme do an intro for our team. It would be kind of cool to have Jake riding one of his horses across one of the nicest areas of our campus, coming up to the camera position, where he pulls up, rope in one hand and a football in the other... just as he throws a pass off camera, Jake says, "Never let go of the rope!"... breaking to a shot of Hud at Cajun Field catching the pass... "Another great pass Jake!... as Hud turns to the camera he says, "It's a great day to be a Louisiana Ragin Cajun!"

I'd do another promo where Jake rides up to a large UL crawfish boil, hops off his horse and gives the reins to Coach Hudspeth as he walks over to the boil... Ali Landry spins around and says, "Never let go of the rope, Hud!"

Wrong.

It pumps up the athletes resulting in a direct impact on how they perform.

In highschool we would break out all black uni's for one or two games a year and I promise it made a difference even if only physiological.

Any advantage is better then none.

You have to remember different things appeal to different people. In terms of today's athlete, a variation in uniform can have a significant impact on the performance of the athlete.

It's not thought but feel. New gear/new outfits can inspire a feeling of confidence. Like a new suit. Works for me. Looked like the Pride had a more pep in their new uniforms (overdue. congrats and enjoy).
