I'm ready for a stadium take over. I talk to a buddy of mine and they're bring their camper up. I say we all meet up at a central location like Canes at 11 and then matriculate over.

2 guys from new Iberia own the monago field house sports bar and grill. It's not far from the stadium.

One of the guys played football at ULM. Pretty sure an all Cajun crowd would get under his skin!

What's the scoop on the bus trip? Might not be a bad option.

No scoop yet. The Alumni Association should be sponsoring bus(es) for the game; they normally send out info about two weeks prior to the date, so that would make it maybe right after the North Texas game next week. I'll post if I hear something!

They will go on sale at the Cajundome at least by the week of the game, if not one week prior. I'll post when I find the date.

We are on a bus of 50 people that is full that will be going. I still have people asking if we have spots. I think the alumni group normally sponsers a bus trip also. Looks like cajun nation will have a rather large crowd there.

I'm not a hunter but if it is hunting season that will reduce their crowd by 50%, or so they say it has in the past.

Who is going to make the short trip and where are people plaining on staying? Just trying to see how many fans we will have up there.

There are a number of nice motels/hotels out by the Pecan Grove Mall on the east side of Monroe( off I-10) From their one can get on Hwy 80 and head West and run right into the University.

Going by bus with the alumni association is a great way to go. Your fee included ticket beverages and snacks for a very reasonable price.

No it wouldn't, Joey isn't stupid. He is in business and would welcome our wallets with open arms. The other owner attended UL and his dad played for UL

I agree if you're going to spend the night, this is where you should look first for a room.
