Didn't see this posted anywhere but as per Tim Buckley, Rodney Gillis has started a medical appeal to the NCAA for a 6th year of eligibility after having missed two years with ACL injuries.

Man, I hope he gets it. We could use him, he has really been a suprise for us this year. 3 picks and 1 fumble recovery plus 4th in the team in tackles.

Plus with what we lose in the Defensive backfield next year, he would help out allot.

You are right but I am almost positive I saw him back in later in the game.

To get a sixth year, you basically have to have missed two because of injury. He's got a chance.
