Hope springs eternal as we are about to enter the conference season next Wednesday v. UNO.
Now that we've got a better idea of what we have, what are your thoughts as to how the regular season will pan out for Dees, Mouton and company?
15-18 wins
11-14 wins
7-10 wins
3-6 wins

The people that voting for 10 or fewer wins obivously haven't seen this team play yet.
We will win 4 road games and lose 2 home games.
That is 11 wins, 7 losses
We play 18 conference games this year.Originally Posted by Square Head
Oops! Can I change my vote? I was thinking this was for TOTAL wins and voted 15-18. I don't think we'll win that many Conference games. For Conference, I think we'll win 10-12 games.Originally Posted by nutz
I think you are probably right. 15 for the season would be great. i voted for the 7-10 group, mainly because that the lack of experience might result in as poor as a .500 conference season, give or take a game. I sure hope I am wrong.Originally Posted by RaginFan2

I can't see us losing three games in the Sun Belt. Geaux Cajuns
We pick up one player who coach says is doing great in practice this week, and maybe two with Milsap the the Payer of the Year in 1A. 1A players have been good to us you know Snowden and Starkes in recent years. If we get neither player perhaps we only win 13 games in the Sun Belt.
I love the passion of some of you guys.Originally Posted by Cajun Express

If we go 9-9 in the Belt, I'm really excited.
You would indeed love the stuff I am on, but you don't need to smoke it, inject it, or taste it. I am a fan and do not in any way have to justify my affair with UL.Originally Posted by BirdofParadise
Have a great trip to Texas, and a better one to UNO.
You call yourself "BirdofParadise"... and you aren't already smoking the good stuff? Surely you jest, Jay.Originally Posted by BirdofParadise

This team improves so much each time I see them that I mulled and mulled over the 11-14 win button before I finally voted. I voted for 7-10 wins. I think youth and inexperience will lead to some close losses, but if I knew for sure whether or not Milsap and Gray would play this season, I'd have probably voted for 11-14.
For those of you who've not had a chance to check this team out, FIND a way to make a game- home or road. They're gutsy and scrappy and leave all they have on the floor, especially Val Hart. You'll be impressed with their desire and work ethic, I guarantee.
