I like it. Not many football teams do it. I like traditions that we can start doing and do EVERY WEEK, EVERY HOME GAME! It ain't a tradition if you only do it sometimes. Yes, I just used ain't, deal with it.

I disagree, it is a different song and the fiddle player in the video is Michael Doucet, founder of the Grammy winning Cajun band, Beauseauliel. Michael is a native of Lafayette and a U.L. alumni....I have passed this idea on to the right people in the athletic dept...

This is true, but the song fits the "Cajun Way" REALLY REALLY well.

I think this would be our own little cool tradition that only we have....
