Lafayette High on Lock-Down

Lafayette High School is currently on lock-down.

The Lafayette Parish School Board says the drill is "both a training exercise and a precautionary measure being conducted due to recent behavior patterns observed by staff and security officers that raised the level of attention to issues surrounding the safety of the school, students and staff."
