Sorry if I sounded obnoxious with the post...I have a habit of doing that lol No he is a good athlete probably faster than Babb but not as mobile as Des. The games I have seen on him he has shown great pose and completes the short pass effectively but the deep ball I don't think is his strength. He could maybe be a solid QB at a 1a school like us but I think he is better suited for 1aa. I have been wrong before and I'll be wrong again but I would rather see him at WR for us if we would infact offer him. I have seen his name listed on websites as a recruit for the cajuns but I haven't seen any offers for him. The best QB's in the state in my opinion is in this years Jr class. Mackey from Bastrop (I have read on other message boards however he is more of a runner than passer), Landry from Assumption, Benoit from Crowley (athlete more than QB), Andrus from Carencro (another athlete), Gauthier from Lutcher, Lewis from Catholic High (he might be the best of the bunch according to most), Williams from St. Paul, and Jefferson from Destrehan.

According to rivals Jefferson, Gauthier, Andrus, and Benoit are all on the Cajuns radar but a lot of that will depend on their Sr. years. Benoit and Andrus are the only ones I am real familier with but I have read good things about Jefferson and Gauthier.

Another guy I was thinking about that I like a lot from Acadiana is Kip Jacobs. What does everyone else think of him...I know a lot of you have probably seen him play more than I have.

I never thought you were obnoxious. I take these sites with a grain of salt and do a little pot stirring myself sometime. I watched Lewis last Friday against Acadiana and he did look good. That was an excellent football game. Looked like 2 Div. IAA teams playing.

    Thank you sir!

They should really think about changing the grade requirements to play high school sports...You can play with a 1.5, that is a complete joke. You already have an automatic A with PE.

    Not so fast my friend...

When i was a senior at Lafayette High (98), our season ended in November. So, we had from Mid-November or so until May with a free "PE" hour in the middle of the day. Most of the time, we'd walk into the locker room, put up our books, then go to the first lunch section to hang out with friends. When track came around, a couple of us would go throw our respective implements so we wouldn't have to stay after school, because sometimes they would try to make us run. Nonetheless, during our last six week period, our coach that was assigned to the grades and stuff for the senior football PE that year, gave us freaking B's. B's? We had a couple guys that were gifted students and usualy got 4.0s. The rest of us were honors students and were getting lots more A's than B's. We were kinda miffed at first, but then were laughing at it a few days later. I guess since he couldn't make us run anymore, he had to try to get over on us somehow.

Clutch...What's the scope on this guy? Is he the real deal? Playing in the Florida pan handle pits him against very good football competition in the greator Pensacola area....

    Brad McGuire, Ht: 6-2 Wt: 183 40: 4.59

"Brad McGuire is an athletic quarterback with great pocket presence and a solid arm for the short to intermediate routes, and very accurate. Great footwork in the pocket and nimble enough to run the option read in a spread offense. Throws well on the run, especially to the right - the direction he normally scrambles. Has a tendency to hold the ball a little long and release has a slight delay cocking the ball. Great release point for his size."

I noticed him myself to esquire but I can't find him on rivals to watch any film and I recently got rid of my scout.com account. Under his weakness's it says he had trouble with the deep ball but it says he is a accurate on the short routes and it looks like he is a great athlete. If i find out more I'll post.
