For the life of me, I don't know how Subway and others survive in an area where there are thousands of po-boy vendors who do a much better job. Subway bread eats like cotton.

Speaking of that, does anyone know what the deal was/ is with the "Sargo Subs" place on Doucet close to Red's? I always wanted to try it out, but everytime I passed by there after working out, it was after their hours. After about 1-2 months of business, it closed for good.

UL's merchandise has it's own following. Go to the mall of Louisiana in Baton Rouge. If I remember correctly, the second most popular collegiate hat they have for the state of Louisiana is UL.

LSU is the STATE'S primary ath powerhouse. Just as Ohio State is or blah., blah., is name your state. Southwestern can't even put 20k at a home game. Just b/c a few militants support UL over LSU does not mean that the community does not. How many times and ways will take to prove to you nutjobs that UL does not have the same fan support as LSU anywhere in this state?

LSU is fighting for a ROSE BOWL birth and is number 5 in the country. ULL is fighting to make the Motor City bowl and is ranked 110.

Get your own house in order and then you may get some fan support.

That's true but UL and it's students pump alot of money into Lafayette at least the businesses in Lafayette should support the college that is their bread and butter. Fair is fair.

_ It was happening about a month ago which was the last time I was in there. I got so angry that I sent emails to the company and I swore I wouldn't go to that Subway anymore. So I'm not sure if they are still doing it, but they were not too long ago. The cups were endorsed by subway with the LSU football schedule on them. _

I think most subways are franchised.
