Edwards is a 5-foot-11 forward who plays on the same AAU team as another UL commitment, Jaylyn Gordon. Edwards will also join the UL track and field team. As a junior, she won the indoor and outdoor state championship in the high jump in Class 4A.

Well if she won the 4A High Jump State Championship in 2012, UL will have the top 2 high jumpers in 4A!!! Lensy Harmon of Teurlings High. They both cleared 5' 8" in a jump off but Harmond had started her jumps at a lower hight and with a sore hamstring just did not have it in her legs. Hollis Connway's daughter also is on the UL track team and Hollis is helping coach the jumpers!!!

Great news about Hollis. One of my all time favorite athletes at UL. Was there to witness many of his jumps and take photos. Definitely one of the good guys.
