If I remember correctly he was being talked about at least for the job.

He interviewed for the job, basically for leverage to get more money from Bowden as OC at Clemson, just in case Tulane would lose their freaking mind and opt NOT to hire Rodriguez...

BOY did Tulane really USL that one eh?

Isn't he from Abbeville? He got a million dollar buyout. Is he good at offense? Perhaps we could sway him to come home?

Scelfo is the one who told Bustle to reconsider UL...
He is the one that called us a "Sleeping Giant" after the Baldwin fire...

So I know they know each other.

He would make a nice OC. But then again, so would Steve Spurrier or Urban Meyer.

He just got a million dollar payday for being fired. I thought he might like to come home and work under Bustle.

    UL Football Possible Assistant Rumors

I have heard some rumors of young high school coaches, whom are alumni of ULL(such as Wayne Stein and Eric Rekeita class of 03). Do these young coaches really have a chance, I am all for new blood, especially guys who love the program. I am new to this site and I am wondering if anyone can confirm or has heard rumors about either of the two.

I tried to start the rumor about Scelfo. That would be cool. but I haven't heard anything for real. Someone said something about bringing in a really strong DC and letting Bustle run the Offense, while bringing in a younger coach to work under him, perhaps as a QB coach or something like that. I guess one of the ones you named would fit under that season. It would be really good for them, not sure how good it would be for UL.

I have heard Mike Collins will be applying for the DC job. He was the HC at ULM a few years ago.

There are higher qualified high schools coaches in this area, if Bustle wants to go in that direction.
