Does he have any ties to Rodriguez? I thought Rodriguez left when Bowden left and he didn't get the Tulane job like he thought he would.

Very true. I forgot bowden was their and that is who rodriquez worked for. regardless, a coach with that many years of experience at that school will get hired no problem

Rodriquez was not an asst. under Scelfo. He was under Bowden. And I don't think he was ever a candidate for the UL job. I do think the folks here wanted him to be, but he was looking at bigger programs and apparently felt he could get a job at one of those schools (which he, of course, did).
