Thread: Sports Loyalties?

I've been Cajuns first, Saints second for as long as I have been a Ragin' Cajun. Further it is easier for me to be a Cajuns fan in Austin than a Saints fan. Saints aren't on TV here that much, giving way to the Texans and Cowboys. Thanks to the internet, I can watch 70% of the Cajuns games.

I'm a Man U fan as well, but I enjoy the entire league. And, you're right about technology. Fox Sports is really stepping up to the plate for the EPL and soccer in general.

The Premier League is awesome for several reasons, but one reason stands out.

-The format is perfect. The idea of relegation and promotion from the Premier League to the Champions League and vice versa is genius. Just think if college football were run this way. Boise would be in the PAC-12, Washington State would be in the MWC. etc. etc.
Relegation and promotion in college football would be phenomenal. It would make meaningless games...meaningful. Washington State playing a meaningless game at Oregon State would all of a sudden become a life or death game to stay in the PAC 12.

    It's the progression of life.

If you're from Lafayette, don't see how it can be any other way.

Really? I don't care much about how my high school does. If they make it to the state championship I will go see them in the Superdome but that is about it.

I like the Pens also as long as they are not playing the Wings or Blackhawks. I can't stand the Flyers. I think it has something to do with their colors and strange logo.

Why Seattle? Michigan football? Just curious. Did you live in Seattle at some point? Did you go to school in Michigan?

My question is would you rather see the Saints in the Super Bowl or the Cajuns in another bowl game?
I love the Cajuns but got to go with Saints in the Super bowl

No NBA fans? I will only follow the Hornets if they make the playoffs. I live 40 minutes from the Dome but us on the Northshore can't watch them on TV. So I feel very little connection to them.

    1 - UL
    2 - Atlanta Braves
    3 - Saints
    4 - Man City

    College sports > the pros.

Also up for mention: Formula 1, any international soccer match, rugby, and cycling.

Been a Magic fan since the day I was born (this offseason has really frustrated me). I was able to catch a game at the new Amway Center last April and it is a phenomenal place to be in.
